Experience Chiang Mai’s spectacular Yi Peng celebration with a synchronized mass lantern release, fireworks, traditional Lanna performances, cultural activities and a Thai buffet dinner. Includes 2 sky lanterns per person, 1 krathong, dinner, souvenirs and round-trip transfer from the designated meeting point.

Only Elite and Platinum tickets are still available for 2026. Standard, Premium, Gold and VIP have sold out, and the festival runs on one evening only.

How the evening unfolds

The day starts at MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center, where shuttles leave for CAD Cultural Center Lanna from 13:00. After registration you have the afternoon in the CAD Cultural and Craft Village, then a Lanna Thai buffet dinner before taking your seat in front of the great pagoda. The ceremony opens with drums, a candle show and monks’ chanting, and at around 20:15 thousands of lanterns rise together, followed by fireworks. Shuttles return to the city from about 20:45.
