1 Day ATV & Whitewater Rafting

This full day combines two activities in the Mae Taeng area north of Chiang Mai: an ATV ride through jungle and rugged trails, and 10 kilometres of whitewater rafting on the Mae Taeng River.

You are picked up from your hotel between 08:00 and 08:30. The morning is the ATV ride, about 1.5 hours on off-road trails through forest and countryside. A Thai buffet lunch with refreshments follows. In the afternoon you go rafting: a safety briefing, then 10 kilometres of rapids on the Mae Taeng River with professional guides. Safety gear and equipment are provided for both activities, and photos of your day are included.

You are dropped off at your hotel between 17:30 and 18:00. The minimum age is 12. The rapids depend on the water level: they are biggest in the rainy season, from about July to September, and lower and more technical in the dry months. Bring a change of dry clothes, a towel, sandals that strap on for the raft, and shoes or trainers for the ATV.
