Day 1 is about 7 km, mostly uphill. Day 2 is the longest, about 14 km with ups and downs. Day 3 is about 7 km, mostly downhill, ending at a waterfall and the Mae Taeng River.
Two nights in simple mountain homestays at about 1,000 meters: one in a private homestay and one in a Lahu village. Rooms are dormitory style, the toilet is outside, and hot water is only available at the first homestay.
