Frequently asked questions
Pickup at your hotel is between 7:00 and 7:30 in the morning and you are back around 5:00 to 5:30 in the evening.
You walk for around three hours on forest paths with some climbing, and you are on your feet for most of the day. If you can manage a long hike in warm weather you will be fine.
Shoes you can walk in for hours, light clothes that can get dirty, and a swimsuit under your clothes for the rafting and the waterfall. Bring a towel and a change of clothes.
You help shower them and feed them. This is a visit rather than a training program, and the elephant part is one stop in a day that is mostly about the forest.
Your guide cooks lunch in the jungle over a fire, using bamboo as the cooking pot and as your cup and plate. Tell the office in advance if you have dietary needs.
