No. Riding is not allowed at Pon Elephant Thailand, and the sanctuary says the elephants are not made to do anything during the visit. If an elephant does not feel like going to the river, the bathing part may change.
Yes, for hotels in Chiang Mai city. If you are staying outside the city there is an extra charge, or you can meet the group at the Pon Elephant Thailand office on Kotchasarn Road.
Yes. Children aged 3 to 8 pay the child rate and children under 3 join free. From age 9, or once a child is taller than 120 cm, the adult rate applies.
Cover your shoulders and knees, and wear shoes that slip off easily. Bring a change of clothes for the elephants; you will get muddy and wet.

The elephant part runs in the rain. Swimming at the waterfall depends on the water level, and in heavy rain the guide may skip it for safety.
